Foreword:
From May 5 to 6, Zhou Bin, Secretary of the Yancheng Municipal Committee, and Sheng Yan, Secretary of the Tinghu District Committee, led a delegation to Tinghu District, Yancheng, to inspect major projects and the development of OPC communities, and conducted an on-site survey of the production situation at the Proshare Yancheng Membrane Technology Industrial Park. Lin Xiaofeng, founder of Proshare, along with other company members, accompanied the delegation and reported on their work.

At the site of the Proshare Yancheng Nano-Membrane New Materials Project, Zhou Bin had an in-depth exchange with Dr. Lin Xiaofeng, Chairman of Proshare, learning in detail about the project’s technological breakthroughs, product performance, and future application scenarios.
Zhou Bin urged the company to continuously enhance its core competitiveness, deepen cooperation with local industries, diversify the application scenarios of its products, and strive to achieve both social and economic benefits.
Project Focus: Forging a Hub for Nano-Membrane New Material R&D and Manufacturing

Proshare Membrane Technology Industrial Park is located in the Environmental Protection Science and Technology City, Tinghu District, Yancheng. Leveraging the technological expertise of renowned universities and adopting the “layer-by-layer self-assembly technology + nano-reinforced materials” independently developed by Proshare’s R&D team, the park produces a new generation of nano-composite thin-film reverse osmosis and nanofiltration membranes (TFN), revolutionizing the previous TFC technology route.
With mature technological expertise accumulated at its Suzhou headquarters, Proshare is building a domestically leading production line in Yancheng with an annual capacity of tens of millions of square meters of TFN nano-composite membranes.
Deepening Expertise in TFN Membrane Technology: Proshare’s Industrial Ambition and Core Strengths

Proshare’s headquarters is located in Suzhou Nano City, the world’s largest nanotechnology industry application community, and was approved to establish its presence there by the Suzhou Industrial Park Administrative Committee in 2017. The company’s membrane technology park in Yancheng covers an area of 31,234㎡, with over 20,000㎡ of R&D, production, and office space, employing nearly 100 people, of whom R&D personnel account for more than 30%.
As the company’s core business, Proshare has achieved remarkable success in the R&D and industrialization of TFN membranes and is one of the few specialty membrane suppliers in the world.
The Suzhou headquarters serves as the R&D and operations center, leveraging the world-class nanotechnology cluster to continuously drive cutting-edge technological innovation.
The Yancheng base is positioned as a large-scale manufacturing and regional application expansion center, responsible for mass production of TFN membranes and deeply serving the Yangtze River Delta and other markets.
Firm Commitment: Strengthening and Gathering Talent for Yancheng’s New Materials Industry Chain

Dr. Lin Xiaofeng stated that the company is determined to take deep root in Yancheng and actively respond to Secretary Zhou Bin’s expectations, focusing on three key areas:
Continuous Technological Leadership: Leverage the R&D team at the Suzhou headquarters to continuously upgrade TFN membrane technology and maintain world-leading product performance.
Deepen Local Collaboration: Proactively engage with Yancheng’s leading industries, including new energy, environmental protection, and electronics, to provide specialty membrane separation solutions, helping local enterprises reduce energy consumption and improve water reuse rates, achieving both economic and environmental benefits.
Attract High-Level Talent: Establish a membrane technology application laboratory in Yancheng, recruit and train professionals in membrane materials, and carry out industry-university-research collaborations with local colleges and universities, contributing to Yancheng’s goal of becoming a hub for the new materials industry.

Safety as the Foundation: Proshare Builds a ‘Firewall’ for Its Production Lines
While ramping up production of its nano-membrane new materials, Proshare has always prioritized workplace safety. From chemical warehousing to high-temperature coating, from machinery protection to emergency drills, the company has established a comprehensive safety management system throughout the entire production process, building a solid line of defense for this high-end membrane-‘as thin as rice paper’.
